Exclusive Books Gateway was packed with eager fans of author Ilana Gershlowiz at the launch of her book ‘Saving my Sons: A Journey with Autism’, last week.
One of the moms Presha Naidoo said the book has given her hope for her son, eight-year-old Zidane Khan who has autism.
“Ilana is such an inspiration for moms like me. She has made a path for us with her programmes that give our children a chance at life,” said Naidoo.
“People have assumed that autistic kids cannot be taught, but they can. She has given us new hope and I am so grateful for that.”
